# Components:
→ For the Cookies
01 - 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
03 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
04 - 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
05 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar
06 - 1 large egg
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
08 - 1 tablespoon milk
→ For the Decoration
09 - 1 cup white chocolate chips
10 - 24 large white marshmallows
11 - 72 mini chocolate chips
12 - 48 chocolate melts or chocolate disks
# Method:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt until evenly mixed.
03 - In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the softened butter with granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
04 - Beat the egg and vanilla extract into the creamed mixture until fully combined.
05 - Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined. Stir in milk for moisture.
06 - Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them approximately 2 inches apart. Flatten each slightly with your palm.
07 - Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges turn a light golden color. Transfer cookies to wire racks to cool completely.
08 - Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl using 20-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
09 - Spread a thin layer of melted white chocolate over each cooled cookie. Attach one large marshmallow near the bottom edge to represent the paw pad.
10 - Place three mini chocolate chips above the marshmallow to resemble toes, and position two chocolate melts or disks on either side of the marshmallow to form side pads.
11 - Allow the decorations to firm up at room temperature or refrigerate briefly until set.
